Fall Clinics

Girls Fall League

FRYLAX was planning on holding a girl’s fall clinic. However, True Lacrosse scheduled a fall clinic at Veteran’s Field so we elected to utilize their program for the fall. We will start up our regular Girl’s Winter Clinic. True’s program will meet starting Sunday September 13th through October 4th as follows:

• Lax to the Max: Grades K to 5 meet between 2:00 and 3:00

• Grade Division 3rd to 5th meet between 3:00 and 4:00 (note that this division can also attend the Lax to the Max sessions as well but).

• Grade Division 6th to 8th meet between 3:00 and 4:00

• Grade Division 9th to 12th (High School) meet between 3:00 and 4:00

The LAX to the Max and all sessions conducted from 3:00 to 4:00 have a street price of $50 but True has discounted its registration fee to FRYLAX players at $45 per session (i.e., your registration fee for the clinic would be $90 if you registered your child for both the LAX to the Max and the 3:00 to 4:00 session. If you child is registering for just one clinic – your cost would be $45). The concession for us getting this discount is that they want FRYLAX to handle the registration paperwork. The Registration Waiver can be found under the Documents tab on the left side of the FRYLAX home page.

We also have loaner gear for first year players so you don’t need to go to the expense of purchasing it only to find out your child doesn’t want to continue on with the sport. Your child must also be a member of US Lacrosse.

Boy’s Fall Clinic

The FRYLAX Boy’s Fall Clinic is scheduled to start Monday, September 14th from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Sloan Field. All age groups (U-9/11/13/15) will meet from 6:00 to 7:30. For the month of October, we will then meet on Thursdays at the Newlonsburg Elementary gym with U-9/11 meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 and the U-13/15 meeting from 7:00 to 8:15. The cost will be $45 and your child must have a US Lacrosse membership. We also have loaner gear available for first year players.

The Registration Waiver can be found under the Documents tab on the left side of the FRYLAX home page.

If you are interested in helping out with either the Girl's or Boy's Clinics as a parent coach, both FRYLAX and True will be happy to put you to work... You do not need to have any prior coaching or lacrosse experience. We are simply looking for motivated and patient adults and high schoolers.
